A few things I believe about design
Research before pixels
I don't open Figma until I understand the problem space. Every project starts with questions — to users, to stakeholders, to the data.
Outcomes, not artefacts
A beautiful prototype that ships to silence is a failure. I care about the behaviour change at the end of the design process, not the deliverable in the middle.
Inclusive by default
Designing for the margins makes things better for everyone. Constraints reveal creativity; edge cases reveal assumptions.
Honest collaboration
I push back on briefs, welcome critique, and change my mind when shown good evidence. Design by consensus and design by authority are both wrong.
